Family and Social Support Module
This module provides MISSION case managers and peer support specialists with effective clinical strategies and tools to assess family and social support. Additionally, the module emphasizes ways to increase engagement in positive support, provide communication skills to negotiate relationships with family members, and deliver outreach, intervention, and referral to clients and their families.
Family and Social Support Workbook
The Family and Social Support Workbook is designed to complement MISSION family support meetings. The goal of this workbook is to provide psycho-education focused on increasing family members' understanding of the issues that their loved ones may be experiencing. Moreover, the workbook highlights usable coping and communication tools, as well as next steps for ongoing support.
