Peer navigators are a relatively new addition to the MISSION program. Like peer support specialists, peer navigators play a valuable role in MISSION by providing direct care to high-risk clients. However, peer navigators generally have greater experience and more advanced training than peer support specialists, and as a result, provide additional services to the MISSION team. This module overviews the responsibilities of peer navigators, as well as integration strategies for incorporating peer navigation into MISSION programs.
